


With his sharp suits and clean-cut image, ex-copper Jack is a real smooth operator with a keen eye for the ladies and soon set his sights on Ronnie Mitchell. Jack didn't waste any time in winding up Phil Mitchell, and the two are now sworn enemies.

2007 Jack buys Scarlet nightclub from under Ronnie's nose. Jack agrees to be a silent partner in the revamped club R&R, but he and Ronnie's professional - and personal - partnership is soon exposed. Jack helps Phil to find his daughter Louise - then threatens that he'll reveal all about Phil's dodgy dealings unless he sells him the car lot.

Brought up in Woolwich, south east London, Scott joined the Royal Marines at the age of 16. After being injured during service, Scott enjoyed international success as a model, fronting campaigns for Armani and Versace.
In 2000, Scott turned to acting, landing a role in Guy Richie's mob drama Lock, Stock... Having also appeared in Heatbeat, Peak Practice, Scott is probably best known for playing dishy DS Phil Hunter in the long-running cop drama The Bill.
Scott left The Bill in 2007 to join the cast of EastEnders as regular character Jack Branning. His love interest in the show is Ronnie Mitchell, played by Samantha Janus, and in real-life Scott is god father to her children.
Scott enjoys fishing, particularly for carp, and his favourite EastEnders character of all time is Dot.
