Michelle Ryan: 'I really enjoy being evil' (VIDEO)

Former EastEnder Michelle Ryan says she thoroughly enjoyed playing a bitch in the hit BBC One series Merlin.
The 24-year-old appears in five episodes of the Saturday night series, starting this weekend, playing a sorceress Nimueh, who's hell-bent on destroying the kingdom of Camelot.
She told whatsontv.co.uk: "It was really great fun. I normally play good girls who have a bad side, who have a dark side. But Nimueh is REALLY evil. I mean, she has been treated badly in the past... But she's still a bitch!"
She expected viewers to like Nimueh, despite her villainy: "Everyone loves a good baddie. I mean when I'm watching a movie I'm drawn to the darker characters. She's very spicy, Nimueh... She's a really powerful character."
